Rogowski coil is a flexible, air-cored current sensor . it is thin, light-weight and clip-around ,easy to install and retrofit, it is designed to use where solid or split core current transformers cannot fit

Unlike traditional current transformers, Rogowski coils do not use an iron core, which eliminates magnetic saturation and allows highly linear and wide-range current measurement.
